Another in a series of environmental artworks focused on plastic pollution in our oceans. Based on current estimates, there are roughly 5.25 trillion pieces of plastic waste estimated in our oceans. Added to this as a result of the COVID pandemic, 1.6 billion disposable masks have also ended up in the marine ecosystem to date.

On current trends, by 2050, it is estimated that plastic will outweigh fish (by weight) in our oceans.
