Profile
Following a lengthy career in communications and pr management, I'm now focused on developing my artistic skills.
Always a keen amateur artist, a turning point for me was a work entitled 'Return of the Blueblack Hussar' being shown in the Royal Academy's summer exhibition in 2013, and included in the illustrated catalogue of selected works. This portrait of Adam Ant was quite symbolic to me. Adam, who at that time was in the early stages of what has become a successful musical comeback, had always been an inspiration to me from an early age. During a period of ill health, I had resumed painting again and it was watching him on his journey that spurred me on to make a submission to be considered for inclusion in the exhibition.
The end result is an enthusiastic return to my first love, art.
